Evidence of a new MacBook Pro has been found in the latest seed of Mac OS X 10.6.2.
The finding comes via applesfera and is found in build 10C531. Looking at the screenshot below you can see configuration files that reference MacBook Pro 6.1 and MacBook Pro 6.1b. Currently Apple is shipping the MacBookPro5.
It is thought that Apple may update the MacBook Pro with the Nehalem (Core i7) based processors that have already been put into the Mac Pro and iMac.

Great. Just brought a new MacBook Pro. Hope the new one has not changed too much apart from obviously the specs inside. Oh well as the old saying goes.
