Apple Watch Shop in Galeries Lafayette to Close in January 2017?

Posted by · 9592 views · Translate

The Apple Watch shop in Galeries Lafayette is set to close in January 2017 due to slow sales, according to recent report from Mac4Ever.

The shop was one of the few locations where customers could browse and buy the gold Apple Watch Edition. However, with the launch of Apple Watch Series 2, the company discontinued its gold Edition models. Instead of spotlighting the Apple Watch as a luxury fashion item, Apple now appears to be placing more of a focus on its use as a health and fitness device.

With slowed sales at the Galeries Lafayette location, Apple has already reduced the number of employees on hand and plans redistribute the remaining ones to other stores once the shop is closed.

Like I corrected you before time and again, people have what they are satisfied with even if the watch does meet their expectations, but it depends on either how necessary they need it or how they can be able to afford it, or of course old versions are enough they need to have like those who still hold on to 3.5" iPhones for example.

With the gold watch discontinued (as stated), I wonder how cheap a used one will be especially when finding them in stores where old electronics can still be sold (pawn stores for example).
