Apple may make its new wireless AirPods available to purchase by November 18-19th. According to an employee at Apple reseller Conrad, they are set to receive AirPods stock on November 17th and make them available to purchase a day or two later.
German site Apfelpage.de reports:
Hello, I have just talked with an employee of the Conrad Online Store, since I am there on 14.10 the AirPods ordered and I wanted to cancel today. According to information from the employee, they have stockpiles from 17.11, I will then store them between 18-19. November.
Apple was originally set to release its AirPods in late October; however, it delayed that release and has not provided an new ETA.

The design is unappealing and expensive compared to options like the Crazybaby Air Wireless Hi-Fi headphones for $99. It feels like the same design as the last few years. Why not change it to a more square look like the Xiaomi Mi Mix or the Note 7?

The "ugly" design was wot because that's how it is supposed to fit anyone's ear based on scanning hundreds of ears and making a design to suit it all, plus the 7 didn't have a major redesign because it was held off for next year, but at least some things changed for the better.
