A video has leaked which demonstrates the media player for Sony's revamped Android UI, dubbed Rachael.

This demo is conceptual and intended for internal use only. Do not distribute

The home screen features quick access to Most Recent, Recently Added, and Favorite songs. There is also PlayNow Top 30 and recommendations. At the bottom of the screen there are tabs for Music, Video, and Photo.

When making a selection from the bottom tabs the album art spins to assemble the new screen.

The video goes on to demonstrate music, video, and photo playback.

1 - it´s not Sony, it´s Sony Ericsson 2 - Rachael is the codename for the device (x10, to be presented tomorow), not the UI

Perfect example how competition thrives others to outperform the leaders. This is a great app for the Android/Angstrom platform to compete with Apple iPhone/iPod. Well done SE, keep raising the bar. Maybe Apple will copy some of your ideas. ;-) Love this concept and would love to see it come to life on the next Experia X2/X3 device. Droid or WM, which ever is fine by me.
