New OWLE Prototype Brings Depth of Field, Zoom, Mic to iPhone

A new OWLE prototype brings depth of field, zoom, and a stereo condenser mic to the iPhone 3GS.

The prototype was demonstrated in a new video posted on YouTube.

The OWLE Bubo is a camera mount for the iPhone which helps stabilize the phone while providing add on accessories such as a repositioned microphone, LED lights, and 37mm wide-angle/macro combo lens.


Holy crap! finally got it to work! As this video is being uploaded we made an even better version. these are early prototypes but we were just so excited we had to share =)

OWLE will be making these accessories available to you as soon as we can. Last time it only took us 4 months from protoytpe in a youtube video to mass production. I bet we can beat that record!

This was recorded on an iPhone 3gs, OWLE Bubo, Telephoto lens, Custom 30pin stereo in and an Audio Technica mic.
