500$ viper smart start comes with 300$ hardware and the labor to put it in. 200$ for the module for two way comm. in your car. I don't think that's overpriced at all. I put remote starts in all the time for 3-500 dollars and they can't start from anywhere in the world!!

I would add this one: http://www.folabs.com/proremote.html It's a remote control for Protools, but at 99€ it's a bit overpriced...
