CT Scan Reveals the Tech Inside Apple's AirPods [Video]

iFixit has teamed up with Creative Electron to give us a 3D look at the components inside Apple's AirPods.

You’ve probably seen the awesome x-rays that Creative Electron provided us for some recent teardowns. From iPads to the Apple Watch, Creative Electron has given us a glimpse of what we were tearing down before we actually did it. Now, Bill Cardoso is visiting with us to show off his newest piece of tech: a specially made CT scanner. You’ve never seen the AirPods like this, and neither have we! As you might remember from our teardown, we literally had to destroy them to get inside. Not anymore.


Apple AirPods are available to purchase for $159 from Apple. If you want to customize yours with color, ColorWare has just announced that it now offers 58 custom colors to choose from.
