Drake's More Life Breaks Streaming Record

Drake's More Life project has broken streaming records at Apple Music and Spotify, reports The Verge.

The Drake album was streamed 89.9 million times on Apple Music in its first 24 hours, breaking the single day record. Notably, streams via Apple Music far outpaced those on Spotify. More Life was streamed 61.3 million times in its first day on the rival service.

The debut also helped set a record on Beats 1, with Saturday's episode of OVO Sound Radio being the biggest Beats 1 show to date.


The top song was 'Free Smoke', followed by 'Portland' and 'Passionfruit'.
