Gigabyte Technology has issued a BIOS update that fixes a problem for some Windows 7 users who have been unable to sync their iPhones, according to PCWorld.
Microsoft, Intel, and Apple have been investigating an issue in which Windows 7 64-bit users with the Intel P55 chipset have been unable to sync their iPhones with their computers.
On Friday, Gigabyte posted beta BIOS version F4V which they say fixes iPhone sync issues. Users on the Apple Discussion forums have confirmed this.
Unfortunately, this fix only applies to those with Gigabyte motherboards. Users with the ASUS board and others are still waiting.
