Apple to Release a Concierge iPhone Application?

Apple may be preparing to launch a Concierge iPhone application targeted at its retail store customers, according to MacRumors.

Several sources have told the site about an application that provides the same functionality as the company's retail store online reservations system, allowing customers to schedule Genius Bar and One to One appointments from their mobile devices. Sources also noted that the app will let users to keep tabs on their premium membership subscriptions offered by Apple.

No word yet on when the application will hit the App Store. Presumably it will be free.
