Evidence of Mac OS X 10.7 Found Already

References to Apple's next operating system, Mac OS X 10.7, have already been found, according to MacRumors.

A new database entry for the open source launchd framework responsible for booting Mac OS X references "11A47" with error message, "SecurityAgent no longer visible via Accessibility."

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard launched with the prefix 9A571. Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard launched with the build number 10A432 and updates 10.6.1 and 10.6.2 have had the prefixes 10B and 10C, respectively.


Following along, its clear that 11A is being used to represent the next operating system though no word yet on its code name. Number 47 likely indicates that Apple has just recently begun its work.
