The upcoming Apple Watch 'Series 3' will reportedly feature an all-new form factor, according to Daring Fireball's John Gruber.
Commenting on Bloomberg's recent prediction that Apple's new smartwatch will get cellular connectivity this year, Gruber said:
It’s hard to overstate just how big a deal this could be. No mention in Businessweek’s report, though, of the all-new form factor that I’ve heard is coming for this year’s new watches. That tidbit came from an unconfirmed little birdie, though, so I wouldn’t bet the house on it.
We've yet to see any leaks that suggest a design change but we'll definitely let you know the moment something surfaces! Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

A curved design might be nice, to make it seem less clunky.

A new form factor would be welcome, I love my Apple Watch for its functionality but frankly it's very aesthetically unimaginative. Other smartwatches out there are much more beautiful and much less "gadgety". That being said, I totally understand that functionality influences the form factor.
