Normalizing they botch is like normalizing Harvey Weinstein’s actions. I understand this is Apple’s first “all screen” phone. If we look at how hey work then we know eventually they’ll improve the sides of the phone and perhaps try to integrate the camera and sensor right into the screen. I know they will eventually because that’s how they do everything. In steps. An invisible camera and sensor is coming in a few years. They have to sell a new phone every fall.

The notch transfers quite nicely to the whole Apple lineup!! Sensors and cameras are needed on the front, so this are provides room for the meantime.

I don’t get why people call the notch so ugly it’s nice it’s better than having a whole rectangle all across; the top the sides of the notch can be used for displaying things like WiFi strength and battery. The MacBook and iMac look sexy.
