Verizon and AT&T Drop Lawsuits Against Each Other

AT&T on Wednesday dismissed its lawsuit against Verizon Wireless and its recent "There's A Map For That" campaign, according to Dow Jones Newswire.

In turn, Verizon has dropped its court request for a ruling that its various "Most Reliable 3G Network" taglines were actually true, reports Engadget.


AT&T likely dropped its case since it was unsuccessful in obtaining an injunction against the Verizon ads before the holidays. Spending money to litigate this further would be a waste since the damage has already been done.
