Jonathan Levin has released LiberiOS, a new jailbreak for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 11.0 - 11.1.2. This follows the release of LiberTV 1.1 for Apple TV earlier today.
LiberIOS - Now liberating pretty much every *OS 11.x.y device, for x ≤ 2
Unfortunately, the jailbreak doesn't come with a working version of Cydia yet and offsets are missing for quite a few devices.
Advanced users can give it a try by installing this IPA to their devices using Cydia Impactor. If your offsets are missing, please report it here.
We'll be posting a tutorial on how to jailbreak your device using LiberiOS soon.

This is the correct statement:
LiberIOS - Now liberating pretty much every *OS 11.x.y device, for x < 2 (less than 2)

I'll stop jailbreaking if you can use a bluetooth mouse on you ipad through app store

Is jailbreaking just for piracy? It seems like it would be better to just use the App Store or switch to Android.

You do understand that a jailbreak has nothing to do with pirated apps, don't you? YOU DON'T EVEN NEED A JAILBREAK TO PIRATE APPS! A jailbreak is root access, and if you knew anything about jailbreaks you would know that.

My iPad says done but what next ? I don’t see cydia ....

This is a Dev jailbreak at the moment, keep an eye on /r/jailbreak for updates on how to install Cydia once Cydia and substrate are updated.

December 2 bug makes this jailbreak useless. Recommend updating to 11.2 and holding there for next jailbreak.

Marco_cueva - December 27, 2017 at 10:17pm
Should have waited until the bugs are fixed and Cydia has its Mobile substrate updated

Only way to fix that bug was to update to 11.2. Device was completely unusable with that bug. :*(

Why do jailbreakers always releases jailbreaks after that certain iOS was not signed anymore? Do they really want us to use it?
0
vanimox - December 27, 2017 at 12:36am
Everyone was warned, on here at iClarified, Twitter, and Reddit while the signing window was still open for iOS 11.1.2 to stay on that firmware because a jailbreak would be released. This is likely going to be the norm for future jailbreaks so in the future if there is a warning saying to stay at a firmware, head those warnings and you'll be able to jailbreak next time.

I am trying to install 11.1.2 on my iphone 6, iTunes will not accept the ipsw and is declining to authorize the image (checked hosts file and security settings, both are in order) and 11.1.2 is still being signed atm. 11.2.1 is what apple is trying to shove down our throats atm, will this still work on that version? or is 11.1.2 where this ends?

11.1.2 It's not being signed. If you are on 11.0 up to 11.1.2 right now, use the jailbreak and pray that you don't need to restore. If you are on 11.2 or 11.2.1,then you missed the boat. Personally I'm on 11.1 and I will wait for a stable release of the jailbreak tool and one that includes cydia. Without cydia this release isn't useful to me in any way.

No, it is not being signed anymore. You’re out of luck.

Marco_cueva - December 26, 2017 at 8:03pm
Same. I wonder how long it will take for a stable release

Will it work for 11.2 ?
0
Zanka - December 26, 2017 at 11:41am
It clearly states what iOS are support.
0
Seelview - December 26, 2017 at 7:01am
If x >= 2 then it should be available for ios 11.2 too. You should edit that.
0
Dylan - December 26, 2017 at 5:39pm
Right? If I remember anything from high school Mathematics it’s that x is less than or equal to the number 2. So that would mean iOS 11.2.x would be jailbreak capable.
0
Joe Pacarai - December 28, 2017 at 6:54pm
You’re absolutely right. They should edit that statement.

Joe Pacarai - December 28, 2017 at 6:59pm
Just a small change would fix it: “LiberIOS - Now liberating pretty much every *OS 11.x.y device, for y ≤ 2”
