An internal memo viewed by Bloomberg outlines the "Event Support Experience Program," which lets store team members apply to work the event. Participants will help organize lines, check in guests, greet attendees, offer directions, and support security teams throughout the presentation.

The company told staff the event will take place during the first half of September but did not provide a specific date.

Apple has relied on retail employees to help staff major product launches for years. Interested employees have until August 8 to apply, with Apple planning to notify participants by August 17. Employees who worked this year's Worldwide Developers Conference or last year's iPhone launch are not eligible for the program.

The event will mark the first major keynote under CEO John Ternus, who is scheduled to officially succeed Tim Cook on September 1.

Apple is expected to launch its first foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, new Apple Watch models, and other hardware. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on X, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more updates.
