Apple Offers Free Month of Upgraded iCloud Storage to Non-Paying Users

Apple is offering free one month trials to non-paying iCloud users, notes AppleInsider.

Customers who've signed up for an iCloud account get 5GB of storage free. In an effort to garner more subscriptions, Apple is now offering a free month of storage when you upgrade to a paid plan.

There are three paid plans available: 50GB for $0.99/month, 200GB for $2.99/month, and 2TB for $9.99/month.

Since you can cancel your plan at any time, this effectively offers customers a free month trial. To upgrade, navigate to Settings, choose your Apple ID, select iCloud, and tap Manage Storage.

$0.99 is a pretty good investment. Seen too many people lose priceless data and pay gobloads of money to retrieve data from liquid damaged devices.

I completely agree. With working at apple in a past life. I would see it all the time.

Then they do it. Forget to go back within the month and gets charged .99/month for eternity. Super Smart business idea

Exactly. And when they forget and do get charged, they say, "oh what the heck, its only 0.99 (+tax) a month anyway."
