Apple has released watchOS 4.3.1 to fix an issue that could affect users on startup.

watchOS 4.3.1 fixes an issue which cased Apple Watch to sometimes remain at the Apple Logo during startup for some users.

So, does iMessage In The Cloud work on the watch too? If I delete a text on the phone, does it go poof on the watch?
