Waveboard is a very simple front end for Google Wave. This client shows the standard web presence for mobile devices provided by Google Wave but also adds those useful features:
★★★ QUICK INBOX ★★★ The Google Wave interface usually needs some time to get loaded. 'Quick Inbox' gives you a quick overview of waves in your inbox and marks those which contain changes. This preview loads within seconds even on slow network connections.
★★★ PUSH NOTIFICATION ★★★ Waveboard is the first iPhone app that offers build in Push Notifications for Google Wave. To get notified about changes add the wave robot xwaveboard@appspot.com to the wave you like to get notifications from. Visit http://www.getwaveboard.com/push for detailed informations.
★★★ INTEGRATED BROWSER ★★★ External links in waves are opened in an integrated web browser view with back, forward and reload function. You can jump to Safari from a page if you still need to. Once you finish the integrated browser you'll get back to the point where you left the wave.
★★★ WAVEBOARD FOR MAC ★★★ Don't miss to get Waveboard for Mac which is the perfect companion for this app. It brings notifications and other unique feature for wave to your desktop.
What's New In This Version: - Waveboard can now receive push notifications from the Waveboard robot at xwaveboard.appspot.com.
- Quick Inbox shows a read only list of most recent waves directly after applications launch. Optionally the web view can be loaded in the background.
- Google Account credentials dialog that remembers your log in informations. You can choose to be asked for the password each time the app starts.
- Removed the shake feature, because it is not needed any more.
You can purchase Waveboard for the special price of $.99 from the App Store.
