In a recent survey of 1665 adults conducted by USA Today, respondents identified three new features they really wanted to see in Apple's next generation iPhones.
The survey found that 75% of customers wanted better battery life, 66% wanted shatter-proof glass, and 44% wanted expandable storage. When asked to choose just one feature, 38% chose battery life and 24% chose the shatter-proof screen.
Here's some of the other requested features. Notably, just 10% wanted Apple to get rid of the notch.
● Charge the phone to be able to listen on headphones simultaneously (39 percent) while 37 percent said to back the headphone jack.
● Ditch the Lightning port (29 percent) and replace it with a USB-C connector, which has become the new all-in-one port for charging phones, computers and some cameras.
● Improvement to the FaceID recognition system, which some critics say is spotty. (19 percent)
● A faster refresh rate for apps. (18 percent)
● Remove the notch from the top of the iPhone X screen: (10 percent)
Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones at a special 'Gather round' event on September 12th. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
