Apple has begun updating the status of iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max pre-orders to 'Preparing to Ship'! Users in multiple countries began reporting the change in status earlier today.
The flagship device will be delivered to customers starting September 21st. If you place a pre-order now, you can expect to get the new iPhone between Oct 1st and Oct 8th (this may vary depending on model, carrier, color, and storage).

I've been following every single iphone release except this one. It's the first time that I have absolutely no interest in getting it. iphone X was a disappointment to me (I still want the home button and touch id back after a year of using iphone X). Building something on top of a disappointment isn't going to win my money over.

The 8 plus was the last Apple iPhone I’m going to buy, then in a couple years I’ll be switching to android

I still got an iPhone 6s because I kept waiting for something new but only Samsung does anything worth having. Planning on getting the g10 in October.
