The first LTE speed tests performed with the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max show a huge performance improvement over the iPhone X, reports SpeedSmart.

The First #iPhoneXS & #iPhoneXSMax Speed Tests have been taken showing significant improvement over previous iPhone in network speed with comparison. @tmobile @JohnLegere @ATT #speedsmart http://speedsmart.net

Looking at the chart below we can see performance numbers for AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. The iPhone XS downloads at an average speed of 72.24Mbps and uploads at 14.88Mbps when connected to AT&T. That's significantly higher than the 27.67Mbps download and 10.28Mbps upload of the iPhone X.

Apple has equipped its new flagship device with a modem that supports Gigabit-class LTE with 4x4 MIMO and LAA. While dependent on carrier and location, most users can expect a notable increase in LTE performance if upgrading to the new iPhone XS.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are available to pre-order now and deliveries start on Friday, September 21st.

They are trying to outsell iPhone X with theoretical iPhone XS performance which is in negligible boost considering the price tag. I’m happy and content with my iPhone X 256GB.

That has nothing with iPhone X! I’ll gladly share screenshot with my speeds in Serbia for those who don’t know it is one small country in Europe. Down 91.4 Mbps up 21.7 Mbps. So I don’t believe that problem is in phone because of all those LTE bands it uses. Betwr check for operators network quality.

Yeah this is bs. My X is always topping 80mbps in decent reception.

You dont understand, they took an iPhone X and iPhone xs at the same location, and the xs is faster, your location would be different, so instead of the 90mbps for iPhone X, it would be 150mbps on iPhone Xs
