Apple Reveals Out of Warranty Repair Costs for iPhone XR

Apple has revealed what it will cost to repair the iPhone XR if damaged accidentally or out of warranty.

A screen replacement will cost $199 USD and any 'other damage' will cost $399. While high, these prices are less than the iPhone XS and iPhone X. An out of warranty battery replacement will cost $69 which is the same as the iPhone XS.


If you think you may accidentally damage your device, AppleCare+ includes two incidents of accidental damage coverage. Using a coverage incident will get you a screen repair for $29 and an other damage repair for $99.

AppleCare+ costs $149 for the iPhone XR or $7.99/month.
