An unofficial web player for Apple Music has been launched by Naveed Golafshani, a student studying software engineer at the University of Waterloo.
The player is described as a 'A Progressive Web App for Apple Music built with Angular, Angular Material, and MusicKit JS.'
You can try it out at https://playapplemusic.com/. The domain will likely be changed in the near future due but Golafshani says traffic will be redirected to the new site.
I'll change the domain soon, just need some ideas of what to name it (open to suggestions). After the change, I'll redirect traffic from playapplemusic to the new domain and you'll have to login again unfortunately.

It looks surprisingly similar with the Spotify desktop app.

Is it a good idea to give out your Apple ID and password?

It's completely secure, the site redirect us to official apple id site to authorize our apple id (w/ active Apple music) to be used with playapplemusic.com
