This is actually a good news, I like the lightning cable, and I would like it to stay for as long as we still use cables, in fact it is more secure and protect the device from any power damage, and if it breaks it does outside which you can throw it away and buy a new one, while the USB type C can easily breaks the tongue inside the device and that is my friend a true pain in the ass.

I don't care what they do as long as that stupid notch is gone. But, I do hate the lightning plug. They all go bad and don't last for nothing. It would be nice to have one plug for everything.
