Apple is planning to unveil new video and news subscription services next month, reports Bloomberg.

As previously rumored, Apple is expected to hold a services focused event on March 25th. The company has invited numerous Hollywood stars to attend including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, and director JJ Abrams.

The video service is similar to Amazon.com Inc.’s Prime Video and Netflix Inc. products, and will include TV shows and movies either acquired or funded by Apple. The company has created dozens of original programs so far, but hasn’t wrapped them in a subscription yet. The paid service will launch by the summer, the people said. They asked not to be identified discussing private plans.

Bloomberg says that Apple will offer some free content as well as subscription content. Users will be able to access programming from other providers, such as Starz, similar to Amazon's video service.

As already discovered in iOS 12.2 beta, the news subscription service will be integrated into the Apple News app. The updated app will purportedly have a Magazines tab similar to the Texture app, which the company acquired last year.
