AT&T will announce a $10/month price increase to DirecTV Now next week and introduce two new packages that will replace the existing ones, reports CordCutters.

The new packages will be called DIRECTV NOW Plus with 40+ channels for $50 a month and DIRECTV NOW MAX with 50+ channels for $70 a month. Current subscribers will be notified of this change starting next week the same day new customers will have to pay this new price. DIRECTV NOW will also be adding HBO to the Plus and MAX packages as a standard channel. This comes from sources with knowledge of AT&T plans to update their prices.

If you stay subscribed to your old plan you will be able to keep it at a $10/month price bump. If you leave the service you may not be able to get your old package pack.

Sources say that emails will start going out on March 12th to notify customers of the price increase which will apply to their next bill on or after April 12th.

People should just stop it already. Time to tell these giant companies that we have to get more for our money. They salaries keep going up while the people's stay the same. Too bad the public will suck up to them though.
