Yahoo! Messenger for iPhone Gets an Update

Yahoo has updated their messenger application for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Yahoo! Messenger for the iPhone allows you to IM friends and family right from your iPhone wherever you are.

What's New In This Version:
• Users now have the ability to set a display image from within the app. This was one of the most requested features by our users.
• Users will now see real time updates when their contacts change their display image.
• File transfer now supports more file types – office docs, pdf & video files to name a few.
• A new privacy option for users to opt for ignoring incoming messages from anyone who is not on their Messenger list.
• App is now offered in 4 new languages – German, French, Italian & Spanish.
• Several bug fixes.
