The Walt Disney Company shared new launch details for its upcoming Disney+ streaming service today.

The service will officially arrive in the United States on November 12th for $6.99/month or $69.99/year. It will also launch in Canada and The Netherlands on the same day.

“Disney+ will launch in Canada and the Netherlands in tandem with the US on November 12th, priced at $8.99CAD per month (or $89.99 per year) and €6.99 per month (or €69.99 per year), respectively,” Disney announced in a press release. “The following week, Disney+ will launch in Australia and New Zealand on November 19th, priced at $8.99AUD per month (or $89.99 per year) and $9.99NZD per month (or $99.99 per year), respectively.”

Disney also provided a list devices and platforms that will support Disney+. Included are devices from Apple like the Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone. Notably missing from the list are devices from Amazon like the Fire TV; however, this could change before launch.

Supported devices/platforms:
● Apple TV (tvOS)
● Android mobile devices
● Android TV
● Chromecast
● Desktop web browsers
● iPad (iPadOS)
● iPhone (iOS)
● PlayStation 4
● Roku streaming players
● Roku TV
● Xbox One

Disney says that Disney+ will be integrated into the Apple TV app and that Apple users will be able to subscribe directly to the service via in-app purchase. This means that Apple will get a cut of its profits.

Earlier this month, Disney announced that it will offer a streaming bundle that combines Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for $12.99/month. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
