Apple has finally updated Boot Camp to include support for Microsoft Windows 7.
This update adds support for Microsoft Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate), addresses issues with the Apple trackpad, turns off the red digital audio port LED on laptop computers when it is not being used, and supports the Apple wireless keyboard and Apple Magic mouse.
Boot Camp is a utility included with Apple's Mac OS X operating systems that assists users in installing Microsoft Windows on Intel-based Macintosh computers. The 3.1 update is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Apple has also released the Boot Camp Utility for Windows 7 Upgrade. Use the Boot Camp Utility for Windows 7 Upgrade Installation Utility before upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. This utility safely unmounts the read-only Macintosh volume on Microsoft Vista.
