Because as we all know that everyone that owns a device that just works and does enough for them even for a main reason buying something totally means nothing the split second a new version is revealed. Of course technology is always evolving and we must adapt at some point for what kind of new standard a certain part of it sets and enjoy what we can before we decide the best time to upgrade. Enjoy what you decide to buy now while it's supported or as modern as its allowed to, then evolve at some point.
