Zibri has released ZiPhone 2.5 which supports the latest 1.1.4 iPhone firmware. It is suggested that you do a restore to 1.1.4 before attempting to jailbreak or unlock it.
I will be posting tutorials shortly on how to use ZiPhone 2.5 so please stay tuned!
IT Works perfectly: i restored upon Zibri's advice to a fresh original 1.1.4 Apple firmware from my previous 1.1.3 Zibri's 2.0 unlocked and jailbroken iPhone. Than i run the 2.5 GUI version : Thanks Zibri for your hard work. And thanks to iClarified for his good tutorials : well done TEAM !!!
Installed ZiPhone 2.5 and Unlocked 1.1.4 !
Everything work exept YouTubE.
How to fix Youtube. Sign on Screen asked me to connect to iTune but it didn't help me?
Please advice how to fix YouTube?
I did the iTunes 1.1.4 restore and the ziphone 2.5 on my crash test 1 yr old 3.9 bl iPhone and everything seems fine but youtube. Anyone have any suggestions? Or should I restore and run ziphone again?
@macluvr: Yes, we have! On a 16GB (US) 1.1.3 OTB. Worked perfect. In fact, if I remember right, I used the first GUI (V2.0). With 2.5 I downgraded that same iPhone from BL 4.6 to 3.9. Worked just as fine.
Just upgraded from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 using ziphone works flawlessly!
Getting a 16 gig on mon does anybody know if this will work with the 16 gig?
Thanks to everyone who makes this available to anyone who wants one!
Great that Zibri has already made this available!!!!!!!! But my understanding from reading the Zibri threads suggests we restore fully to 1.1.4, as the BSB Subsystem or installer is not "clean". A similar announcement was made by GeoHot. What a pity if everyone needs to start virtually from "scratch", i.e. back to a "clean" phone, re-synchronising, re-installing APPS etc. . . . . . . . . ......................Guess I will wait till the two of them (Zibri AND Geohot) or anyone as far as I'm concerned (see another news flash regarding installer) to find a way to "clean" the Installer. Hopefully this happens BEFORE Apple forces APPS to be installed via SKD and iTuner....
