Apple has activated in-browser previews for iPhone and iPod applications, improving their new iTunes Preview service.
In November, Apple quietly launched iTunes Preview, a preview for those iTunes links that used to just open the application. Previously, when linking to a song or album in iTunes your browser would open a blank page and prompt you to open the link with the iTunes application.
Last month, Apple started using QuickTime to offer 30 second song samples encoded in 44.1 AAC 300+ kbits/second.
Now, you are also able to view descriptions, changelogs, screenshots and reviews for iPhone and iPod touch applications.
