Each device in this test was freshly restored to iOS 14.1 and set up with the exact same configuration.

Well spotted herojig! I’d like to know the answer to that anomaly too... Putting that to one side if these boot up times are to be trusted my next iPhone will be the 11 Pro, I really expected to see a much bigger difference in boot up times seeing that Apple is telling us that the 12 is such a huge leap forward in the evolution of the iPhone...
