Valve Leaks Teaser Images for Upcoming Mac Announcement

Valve is planning to port some of its most popular games to the Mac, confirms Marketing VP Doug Lombardi.

The company sent teaser images to a variety of sites in advance of an official announcement expected at the 2010 Game Developers Conference which takes place March 9th to the 13th.

The images use Apple advertising references to announce what products Valve is likely porting to the Mac.

Rock, Paper, Shotgun received an image revealing that Steam is coming to Mac.


MacRumors received an image of Gordon Freeman, protagonist of Valve's Half-Life video game series, with an Apple logo on his chest.


MacNN received an image showing turrets from Portal and Team Fortress 2 mimicking Apple's "Get a Mac" ads starring Justin Long and John Hodgman.



Shacknews received an image with a Fortress 2 reference.


Eurogamer received an image with a character from Left 4 Dead.


Macword has received an image depicting Alyx Vance from Half-Life 2 in a reenactment of Apple's famous 1984 commercial.
