Another Analyst Reports iPad Production Delays

Analysts at Think Equity report that checks with Taiwan indicate some slight delays in the gearing up in production of the iPad.

Our checks in Taiwan indicate some minor delays on the iPad. The manufacturing of the iPads was supposed to pick up in February, but volumes even in March are still low. Current volumes are much lower than the market expected but most checks are indicating minor delays. The delays do not appear to be a glass or manufacturing process delays.

This report follows an earlier one by Canaccord Adams analyst Peter Misek who believes a production problem at a Hon Hai Precision plant could limit the iPad launch to the USA or even delay the launch for a month.
