Steve Jobs has reportedly responded to yet another email from a customer eagerly waiting for new MacBook Pros.
Despite many rumors anticipating the notebook's update, we have yet to see any concrete hint as to when they may arrive.
MacRumors has heard that the MacBook Pro supplies to retailers have abruptly become constrained. One MacRumors read emailed Steve Jobs directly about the wait.
"I recognise the need for secrecy etc but I am really losing heart in the lack of vision for the MBP and Mac Pros. Not expecting a response but as someone who has personally switched dozens of people onto the mac way this is a sad email for me to compose."
Steve Jobs reportedly responded with a short reply that simply said,
Seriously? Come on Dell has had the same laptops for 2 years now. Apple has had the same laptops for.... 9-10 months? PATIENTS PEOPLE! CHRIST! To all of you that dont like Steve's one liners. He's gets Thousands of emails a day! Your lucky you get an answer.
the Dell I bought 14 months ago is nothing like what they are offering today. The new ones are have new a motherboard design, new i cores, graphics are outstanding, SATA/USB combo. Dell has a number of models in the same lines but they all have had their inner components remapped and upgraded
OMG, do you really need a new model laptop every freakin year? Are you really going to lose faith in Apple if they aren't constantly creating a newer and better line every year? The guy sounds like Apple hasn't created anything new and great in 5 years or a decade or something like that. Calm down man, it's not like the current line Apple has out now is bad, I absolutely love my Macbook and I've had it for over a year now. Apple has done some amazing things in the past 3 years, you can't make huge leaps and bounds every year consistently over and over and over again, it just doesn't happen.
