Eve Unveils Redesigned Eve Aqua With HomeKit Over Thread Support

Eve Systems, has announced its new third generation Eve Aqua smart irrigation controller with support for Apple HomeKit and Thread.

The Eve Aqua smart water controller activates your irrigation system via your iPhone, Siri, or the onboard button, and shuts off automatically. Set schedules quickly in the Eve app, and let Eve Aqua take care of watering your garden and patio plants – automatically without requiring an internet connection, a bridge, or a gateway. Eve Aqua is also a part of Eve’s world-leading portfolio of products that support HomeKit over Thread, leveraging a HomePod mini or the new Apple TV 4K to make your smart home more responsive and robust.

The redesigned Eve Aqua features a space gray body and matte black front. It replaces previous onboard mechanisms with a brass faucet connector and magnetic valve to ensure improved durability, better leak protection, and near-silent operation.

This technology makes your smart home faster, more reliable, and increases its reach: Simply position a Full Thread Device, such as Eve Energy, as close as possible to your Eve Aqua. Eve Energy will then act as a router and relay data packets from Eve Aqua. This way, Eve Aqua is always in reach – anywhere in your garden.
