Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 16.1 to testers. This release is likely the same as the first developer beta that seeded yesterday.
The beta brings back Live Activities and iCloud Shared Photo Library, adds Clean Energy Charging, battery percentage for more iPhones, easier home screen customization, the ability to delete the Wallet app, early support for Matter accessories, tweaks to the screenshot menu, and more.
To try out the public betas, you can sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program.
