SUV Crashes Through Apple Store in Hingham, Massachusetts [Video]

An SUV crashed through the Apple Store in Hingham, Massachusetts today injuring numerous individuals and trapping four people inside.

According to FOX report, witnesses say the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed when it rammed through the front glass of the Apple Store at the Derby Street shopping center, ending up at the back of the store.


At least one victim was seen being treated outside the building. Others were seen being taken away on stretchers. There were at least five injuries and as many as 10. People were screaming and crying. One woman thought that someone had started shooting. She dove under a desk.

On Twitter, @OpinionatedZach said his wife was at the store.

"My wife is at Derby Street in Hingham, a Black 4Runner drove full speed into the Apple store. She said there are alot of injuries - my wife used a spare jacket as a tourniquet."

The four people trapped inside were freed and taken to hospital for treatment. Their conditions are unknown.


It's unclear if the crash was intentional or if the driver had suffered a medical emergency.

Update:
Sadly, it's reported that one person has died and another sixteen are injured.
