Apple is planning to update watchOS 10 with notable changes to the user interface, according to a new report from Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.
I believe the new watchOS should be a fairly extensive upgrade -- with notable changes to the user interface -- unlike iOS 17. It's important for watchOS to have a big year given that the Apple Watch hardware updates will be anything but major.
Apple is expected to unveil watchOS 10 at WWDC 2023 which has been announced for June 5-9, 2023. Additionally, the company could use the event to unveil its much rumored mixed reality headset; as well as, new MacBook Air models, a Mac Pro, and other software updates including iOS 17, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17, and macOS 14.
Regarding iOS 17, Gurman previous said it would have several 'nice to have' features, despite originally being a release that focused on bug fixes and improvements. Unfortunately, no specifics about iOS 17 or watchOS 10 have been leaked.
