Apple Releases Safari Technology Preview 172 [Download]

Apple has released Safari Technology Preview 172 for download. This release includes fixes and improvements to Web Inspector, CSS, Image Set, Rendering, Editing, JavaScript, Media, Popover, SVG, Accessibility, HTML, IndexedDB, and Web API.

Get a sneak peek at upcoming web technologies in macOS and iOS with Safari Technology Preview and experiment with these technologies in your websites and extensions.

For now, Apple is only providing a download for macOS Ventura. You can download the dmg and find the release notes at the link below. If you already have Safari Technology Preview installed, you can update it in System Settings under General → Software Update.


Note that Safari Technology Preview is a standalone app that works side by side with the current version of Safari, so you can continue to use and reference the current release.
