Apple is planning to begin production of a second generation AirTag tracker next year, according to a new report from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kuo writes:
----
Prediction update:
1. AirTag 2 will likely go to mass production in 4Q24.
2. I believe that spatial computing is a new ecosystem that Apple wants to build, using Vision Pro as the core to integrate other devices, including AirTag 2.
----
AirTags have been a popular product for Apple, allowing users to easily track items across continents. A four pack of the trackers are currently on sale for $84.99, down from $99.99. We definitely recommend trying them out if you haven't already.
