Apple is Planning a Redesigned 'Apple Watch X' [Gurman]

system takes up a considerable amount of space that could be better filled with a bigger battery or other components. To that end, the company has explored a new magnetic band attachment system, though it's unclear if it will be ready or used in the Watch X revamp.

Other changes that may arrive with Watch X include a microLED display with enhance color and clarity, as well as, a way to monitor blood pressure.

For this year, Apple will only make minor improvements to Apple Watch. We're expecting faster processors, fresh colors, and new bands, but little else. The new Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will debut alongside the new iPhone 15 model at a special event rumored to be held on September 12.
