iPhone 15 Battery Capacities Revealed

Battery capacities for the new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro have been revealed an a regulatory database ahead of release.

The entries were spotted by MySmartPrice in the same Chinese regulatory database that provided accurate battery capacities for the iPhone 14.

Here's a look at the battery size for each iPhone 15 model:
● Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max - 4,422mAh (17.109Wh)
● Apple iPhone 15 Pro - 3,274mAh (12.70Wh)
● Apple iPhone 15 Plus - 4,383mAh (16.950Wh)
● Apple iPhone 15 - 3,349mAh (12.981Wh)


For comparison, here are the battery capacities for iPhone 14:
● Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max - 4,323mAh
● Apple iPhone 14 Pro - 3,200mAh
● Apple iPhone 14 Plus - 4,325mAh
● Apple iPhone 14 - 3,279mAh

Note that despite the slight increase in battery size and the new A17 Pro processor, Apple states the same expected battery life for iPhone 15 Pro as iPhone 14 Pro. Video playback of up to 29 hours, video playback (streamed) of up to 25 hours, and audio playback of up to 95 hours.

The new iPhone 15 models are now available for pre-order and will be released on September 22, 2023.
