iFixit Posts Teardown of New iPhone 15 Pro Max [Video]

iFixit has posted a teardown of Apple's new iPhone 15 Pro Max. This follows a teardown of the new Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 that we shared yesterday.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is here, promising to wow with its shiny titanium colored titanium case and 5x optical zoom periscope camera. It even has a carbon footprint that Apple claims has Mother Nature's seal of approval.

● Removable rear glass
● Beefier screws
● Periscope lens (5X optimal)
● 17.1Wh battery (A3121)

Despite the removable rear glass, Apple's new iPhone 15 Pro Max only receives a 4 out of 10 repairability score.

"This phone won't accept salvaged parts, it complicates at-home repair, and it won't
be any fun for your local repair tech. With that in mind, this phone is lucky to get a provisional 4/10 from us with the expectation that, as usual, manuals and parts will be released in the near future."
