Samsung Pushes Apple to Adopt RCS With New Ad [Video]

Samsung has posted a new ad pushing for Apple to adopt the RCS messaging standard. The video is entitled, "Green bubbles and blue bubbles want to be together. Help Apple #GetTheMessage".

The clip follows a conversation between green bubble Romeo and blue bubble Juliet who are apparently upset about their inability to communicate well with each other.


The ad arrives after a Google iPager ad last month, that slammed Apple's refusal to support the new messaging standard.

Over a year ago, Google created a 'Get the Message' website detailing why it wants Apple to support RCS; however, Apple has not taken any steps towards RCS adoption. iMessage is a huge competitive advantage for Apple and it's likely the company is in no rush to harm that.
