ESR has announced the launch of the first Qi2 car charger for iPhone.
ESR's Qi2 charging solutions offer users the fast charging and unparalleled reliability of official MagSafe chargers, but at almost half the price. This new 15W car charger from ESR brings safe and reliable 15W fast charging to the car. Designed for iPhone 13 series and later, it features strong magnets with a holding force of 1,600 g and a 3-point vent mount with support arm, ensuring steady viewing and navigation even on bumpy roads.
The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) introduced Qi2 (pronounced 'chee two') last year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The standard consists of two profiles, the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP) which is based on MagSafe technology contributed by Apple to WPC and branded with the Qi2 logo, and an enhancement to the existing wireless charging Extended Power Profile (EPP) that does not include magnets but complies with the Qi v2.0 standard.
The ESR charger can be attached to your vehicle via a dashboard anchor or air vent mount. The adjustable ball joint and full ring of magnets enable precise angle adjustment in portrait or landscape mode for comfortable viewing at any angle.
Pricing and Availability
ESR's new charger is available to purchase now for $35.99 at the link below. If you act fast, there's a $5 launch coupon that can be clipped to bring the price down to $30.99.
