Palera1n Announces Jailbreak of iPadOS 18

Palera1n has successfully jailbroken iPadOS 18 on iPad 7. The team announced the accomplishment on X today.

Palera1n is a jailbreak for A8 through A11 devices, on iOS 15.0 and higher, using the checkm8 exploit. This means that the palera1n jailbreak won't work for iOS 18, as Apple dropped support for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X with iOS 17.

The most recent version of palera1n is v2.0.0 beta 9.2. Here's a list of the all devices currently supported by palera1n.

● iPhones: iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (2016), iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X

● Apple TVs: Apple TV HD, Apple TV 4K (1st generation)
