Tim Cook Sends Thoughts and Prayers to President Trump Following Assassination Attempt

Apple CEO Tim Cook has issued a statement following the attempted assassination of former President Trump.

In a post on X, Cook tweeted:


I pray for President Trump's rapid recovery. My thoughts are with him, the other victims and the Trump family. I strongly condemn this violence.

Former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally near Butler, Pennsylvania. The shocking incident unfolded when a shooter fired multiple shots at the President from a rooftop outside the venue, hitting Trump in the upper right ear. Tragically, a rally attendee was killed in the shooting, and two others are critically injured. The suspected shooter was neutralized by United States Secret Service snipers soon after the shooting.

Notably, Tim Cook most recently met with Trump at a Business Roundtable last month. Trump purportedly told business leaders in attendance that he would cut taxes and enact the same economic policies he pursued during his first term.
